Der Adapter ist Praktisch wenn man noch ein Netzteil ohne SATA-Anschluss hat oder kein freier SATA-Anschluss mehr verfügbar ist.
Im anderen Fall wird der Adapter nicht benötigt.
Das M3-ATX-HV liefert einen SATA-Anschluss und man benötigt an diesem Netzteil keinen Adapter für SATA, außer man möchte mehr als 1 Laufwerk betreiben.

Ausgezeichnet! Das Kabel eignet sich für den Einbau einer 2,5" Notebookfestplatte in einem Desktop PC und vereinfacht enorm den Datenfluß. Man braucht kein externes USB Gehäuse, sondern man schließt die HDD direkt am SATA Controller auf dem Mainboard an. Ausgezeichnet ist auch die Bearbeitung meiner Bestellung, da die Ware in weniger als 24 Stunden von UPS geliefert wurde. Spitze!
